Two cows are resting on a grassy field under a blue sky with scattered clouds. Their black and white markings contrast with the vibrant green grass beneath them.
This is the reproduction of a woodcut hand colored with watercolors. The cows were in a field in the French Alps.
About Dominique Lecomte
Here are some of my works made since 1984, inspired by the little things of life, the spectacle of nature, the lines and forms of the world, the mystery of cities. I always wanted them to be simple, colorful, warm; to make you smile, to tell you stories that would appeal to your inner child and make you want to explore the world on and off the beaten path.
