Tall poles with nets stretch across a body of water against a backdrop of a cloudy sky. The scene evokes a sense of calm and tranquility, with the vast ocean expanse and distant horizon.
This is a photo of a weir used to catch herrings in the Bay of Fundy.
About Dominique Lecomte
Here are some of my works made since 1984, inspired by the little things of life, the spectacle of nature, the lines and forms of the world, the mystery of cities. I always wanted them to be simple, colorful, warm; to make you smile, to tell you stories that would appeal to your inner child and make you want to explore the world on and off the beaten path.
