Three abstract, monochrome figures walk along a bright, colorful street with vibrant scenery, including a palm tree and a hot air balloon. Each figure is uniquely patterned, contrasting with the vivid background of blue skies and a distant beach. There is a contrast between the figures in dark and their dreams in color.
About Dominique Lecomte
Here are some of my works made since 1984, inspired by the little things of life, the spectacle of nature, the lines and forms of the world, the mystery of cities. I always wanted them to be simple, colorful, warm; to make you smile, to tell you stories that would appeal to your inner child and make you want to explore the world on and off the beaten path. Since 1994, I sell most of them during shows in and around Boston in Massachusetts, USA. Before that, I was selling them in and around Epinal in Les Vosges, France. Some have also been in different galleries throughout the years, and some are still at 13Forest gallery in Arlington, Massachusetts, USA, or at Pettes' Cove Art Gallery on Grand Manan Island in New Brunswick,...
