Artist's Description
Long, slender reeds gently arch over the calm water, creating a serene and reflective scene. Light lily pads float scattered across the surface, adding subtle touches of green and yellow to the composition.
You can see the outline of fish in the reeds but when I took the photos along a lake in Maine, I didn't see them, it's only later that someone pointed them to me.
About Dominique Lecomte
Here are some of my works made since 1984, inspired by the little things of life, the spectacle of nature, the lines and forms of the world, the mystery of cities. I always wanted them to be simple, colorful, warm; to make you smile, to tell you stories that would appeal to your inner child and make you want to explore the world on and off the beaten path.
